Champollion Hostel - Cairo

Great staff, clean rooms, and a cozy atmosphere. The staff was helpful and friendly, and they organized sightseeing trips for me. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and there was a nice common area to hang out in.

There were no major issues or negative aspects to mention.

The people running this hostel are absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable, the facilities are top-notch and sparkling clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They let us chill in the common area even after checking out and provided transport whenever needed. The shared kitchen is a GREAT convenience for all guests. Plus, the upcoming new addition below is sure to be fantastic. And the building itself is incredibly charming and full of character. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the main attractions and the metro. the staff was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. the common area was nicely arranged and provided a great space for relaxing and meeting other guests.

There were a couple of downsides. the breakfast could be improved, with a wider variety of options like sweet pastries or falafel.

The room had soundproofing, so I couldn't hear my roommate's snoring. Breakfast was continental, just what I needed to jumpstart my day. The airport shuttle service was conveniently available.for a price, of course.

Power outages and spotty WiFi, what a delightful surprise!

Lovely staff, great location and comfortable rooms. Old elevator was a hit. Walked everywhere for meals. Would stay again.

The location is ideal, just a short walk from the Egyptian Museum and a lively shopping street. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a cozy lounge area. The staff is excellent and super helpful, providing great service from the moment of arrival. Breakfast is included, and the hostel even offers a lift to the 6th floor.

The hostel can get noisy at night due to its central location.

my recent stay in cairo was a breath of fresh air, thanks to champollion. the friendly staff, spotless rooms, and convenient location near the egyptian museum made my experience unforgettable. they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and taken care of. will definitely be back!
